こんにちは！
本日はお待ちかね、スペインからの留学生プレーヤーの紹介です！
9月までの残りの留学生活、本気でバレーボールをしたいということで、つい先週入部してくれました！
Maria Dalda Bosch（コートネーム：マリア）

大学：Polytechnic University （バルセロナ、スペイン）

【ポジション】ミドルブロッカー
【趣味】旅行（特に都会の文化に触れることが好き）・絵を描くこと・クッキング（チョコチップクッキーを作るのが得意です！）
【好きな食べ物】おばあちゃんが作るスープ（最高です！）・キノコのコロッケ
【嫌いな食べ物】ベジタリアンです！
【日本の好きなところ】人が良い！日本人はとても優しくて、親切で、礼儀が正しい人たちです。
【これだけは誰にも負けないこと】どんな環境にでも順応できること・公の場で話すこと
【早稲田バレー部に入部した理由・きっかけ】
15歳からバレーを始めて、スペインの大学でもバレーをやっていました。日本での留学が半年終わったところで、やはりバレーボールをもう一度やりたいという気持ちが増し、新しい人に出会えて友達も作ることができる部活動に入ろうと思いました。そして、嬉しいことに早稲田バレー部も私を快く受け入れてくれました。

部員のモチベーションの高さとバレーボールに対する姿勢に感動しました。
【入ってみて感じたこと】
早稲田バレー部は、バレーボールの楽しさと、規律の厳しさのバランスを上手に保っていると思います。すべての部員が、笑顔でいながら、真剣な眼差しでボールを追いかけている。そんなみんなのバレーに対する情熱と、気迫にとても感心しました。
【留学中の目標】
私を人として成長させてくれるであろう日本での経験を通じて、日本の文化や生き方を学び、またスペイン文化との違いをきちんと理解したいです。

Hi!!
My name is Maria, im an international exchange student at Waseda University!
I was born in Madrid (Spain) 23 years ago. I studied high school there, at “Nuestra Señora Santa Maria” school, where i started playing Volleyball in the school team at age 15, thats when i realized what a great sport volleyball is. But long has passed since then, i moved to Barcelona, where I started university at the Polytechnic University on Catalunya. The dedication to my new career, architecture, kept me aside from volleyball for a couple of years until i join the university team. It was a great experience to play in a new league and meet new people.
I like to combine it with my other hobbies, traveling and painting. Im an enthusiastic of urban life, i love to sightsee and get to know different places, cultures, lives and people. I think this has made me good at talking to people, one of my strength, i feel confortable in different situations and im a good public speaker.
My favorite food is probably my grandmothers soup, its the best, no one can do it like she does! grin emoticon I also love spanish mushroom “croquetas”. I am a vegetarian, and i love cooking, i try to cook different things every time and be innovative. I don’t think anyone can beat my chocolate chip cookies!!
I really enjoy volleyball, its a great sport, and after 6 months in Tokyo i realized how much i missed playing and how badly i wanted to play, so i decided to join the team, and because it is a great opportunity to meet new people and get to make friends. And im so glad i decided to take this step, Wasedas team has welcomed in the best way possible. The team is spectacular, i am very impressed by the motivation and dedication to this sport, they have found the perfect balance between discipline and fun. Everyone in the team has a great smile on their faces at the same time that they keep focused on the ball. I really admire their passion and strength.
Is one of the things that i like best about japan: the people. Japanese are very kind and friendly, welcoming and respectful.
One of my motivations for this year is to get to know Japanese culture and way of live, to achieve better understanding of what i find so different from back home, by coming here i get to experience the most opposite things to what im used, helping me to improve as a person.
I am really happy to have this opportunity, and i really appreciate accepting me! i will make the best out of it, won’t let down the teams fans!
